Athena Mavromati, MD is the founder of the clinic and responsible for the treatment of all of our patients. She is an Anesthesiologist further specialized in Pain Management which she has been exclusively practicing since 2000.

Her goal is the therapeutic treatment of pain and the restoration of the functionality and normal life for our patients. She successfully applies minimal invasive techniques under ultrasound guidance with particular emphasis Regenerative Medicine treatments such as Stem Cells, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PurePRP) and Prolotherapy. In this regard, she is offering to our patients immediate results and most importantly free from side effects. She participates and keep up with the development of the treatments through collaborations in the US and as a member of international organizations such as the IASP (International Association for the Study of Pain) and the AAOM (American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine).

She earned her medical degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received the specialty of Anesthesiology in Athens. She specialized in the treatment of pain in “Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham” and “Bradford Royal Infirmary” at the United Kingdom, and later continued her scientific education in the US. She had previously worked at the Hygeia Hospital’s Pain Management Unit and as an associate scientist of the University of Athens.

Ioannis Tornazakis is responsible for the operation, and the design and support of the clinic’s technical infrastructure.

He is tasked with the design, development, implementation, configuration, maintenance, testing, and constant modernization of the technical infrastructure – which is comprised by software, networks, medical and network equipment and systems – in order to adequate support the specific needs and requirements of the clinic. Among his main goals is systematic operation, development, standardization, and evaluation of processes, quality assurance, safety and security, procurement and seamless integration of systems into the technical infrastructure and everyday practice in a way that enables the medical staff to continue offering it’s services undisturbed.

He received his BS in Aviation Science and Wings from the Hellenic Air Force Academy and earned his MSc with distinction in “Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering” from the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in California. He had served in Hellenic Air Force as a pilot in the 331FS flying with Mirage 2000 aircraft and as an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer in the Radar and Electronic Warfare Office of the Hellenic Air Force General.
