Neurological diseases

Neurological diseases are a large class of diseases which may occur at different ages. They may be caused by traumatic or degenerative lesions of the nervous system, metabolic disorders, infections, exposure to various harmful factors, lack of vitamins, or even of unknown etiology (idiopathic). The conditions that they cause to the patient can be steady or deteriorate over time. Furthermore, medications usually are of limited benefit to patients suffering from neurological diseases and are accompanied by several side effects.

On the other hand, the treatments of regenerative medicine offer a new approach to the treatment of these diseases. Depending on the type and the specific stage of the disease we may intervene and improve the current situation, delay the progression of the disease, or even restore the neurological damage.
