Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is the simplest form of Regenerative Medicine. After the experience of a decade in treating pain and after long-term use and evaluation of all of the interventional procedures, medications and alternative medicine (eg acupuncture) for the treatment of pain, both in Greece and overseas, we have chosen Prolotherapy as the baseline of our therapeutic approach in our clinic. It is an effective method for the treatment of the problem – not only symptomatic treatment – without substantial side effects.
PurePRP® SP
The PurePRP Supra Physiologic treatment utilizes blood components from the patient for the healing and regeneration of injured and degenerated elements. The method is applicable to more serious damages or injuries that require more intensive treatment. It has a permanent effect by creating a new, healthy tissue and eliminates the need for surgery.
It is also known in the US as therapy with Autologous Growth Factors or PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and treatment of the Regenerative Medicine.
Stem cells
Stem Cell treatments are considered to be the most advanced application of regenerative medicine. We use the stem cells from the same patient to restore injured or degenerated tissues in various parts of the body where needed. This treatments are so effective that allow us to avoid surgery.
Stem cells are located throughout our body. Areas with the highest concentration of stem cells – otherwise known as “stem cells reservoirs” – are fat and bone marrow.

Musculoskeletal ultrasound
The benefits from the use of ultrasound imaging in the application of minimal invasive techniques that are applied in our Pain Clinic are immense compared to the application of the same treatments without ultrasound assistance.
The musculoskeletal ultrasound assists both the diagnostic process in order to locate the damage, and during the treatment by increasing the accuracy of the injections on the damaged location, thus, making the treatment much more comfortable for the patient.
Regenerative medicine
Regenerative medicine is a new comprehensive approach to medicine that aims to complete healing of the injured or degenerated region by strengthening the natural recovery mechanism of the body and by using the cells of the body itself. Medications only improve symptoms without treating the cause of the problem, and so they must be continued for a prolonged period and are accompanied by the side effects that they cause. On the contrary, in Regenerative Medicine we seek the complete cure of the cause of the disease.
